Interesting horror movie fest.

Post by redlava »

http://www.horrorfestonline.com/index.htmlSaw an ad for this on TV today, looked pretty interesting. Looks like a small movie film studio is realeasing several independant horror movies into a lot of theaters around the country for one weekend only in the middle of November. So if you like horror movies like me, might be worth a look if it is playing in your area.

Thanks Brad, this looks really cool. I might have to check it out. I'm surprised to see it playing in Va Beach. Usually all the good stuff passes us by. Now I have to see if I can find a date that wants to sit through an entire day of horror movies. Evil laugh!

It looks like it's playing in three theaters in Hawaii, two of the places I can't even pronounce. It must be sweet living in Hawaii!

Yeah, I have been planning on going to this for a few weeks now. The Wife gave me the "kitchen pass" as soon as we saw the first commercial for it.

According to their schedule 2 of the 3 flicks I want to see are on when I am at work. I have my eyes on The Hamiltons, Reincarnation, and Dark Ride.

Aiea @ Pearlridge (Eye-AY-Uh) is just outside of Pearl Harbor. Honolulu @ Dole Cannery Square is the cheaper theater, but it's in town.Kahului (Ka-hoo-LOUIE) is on Maui.I'll have to see about the Sat/Sun ones.

Thanks for the Hawaiian lesson. I know this is getting off topic, but someday I want to travel to Hawaii. I've always wanted to see the Arizona Memorial. I was just looking at it on Google Earth. I'd also like to try some kayaking there, too.

"The Hamiltons" is high on my list. Looks like my kind of twisted movie.

That one does look good, a twisted sort of good (evil grin).

Did anybody see any of these movies? I didn't get a chance to go. I hope they come out on DVD.

I did not get to go, but one of my co-workers went. He went to 4 of the movies and was not impressed with any of them.

That makes me feel better about not getting to go. Like I said above, two of the movies I want to see conflict with my work schedule and the third I was kind of interested in, but not thrilled about seeing. They might make it to DVD, you never know. Hopefully they will and I can get them off of Netflix.
