Post by hakune »

Well i bought my first vibe last week.Be it not a new one but a "used" car it has only 78000Km on it not bad for a 2003.And i must say i love it to death.Lots of room and a nice sporty drive.Time todo some customizing now i think anything you ppl would reccomend getting done ?

Hey, welcome to the site I'd recomend getting a cold air intake first. It's pretty cheep, it's easy to install, it makes ur car sound sweet, and it frees up a lot of horsepower, and better gas mileage also.

Welcome!! For customizing the look, I'd have to say http://www.grafxwerks.com/prod...VIBA1 For preformance, that would be an intake (I suggest K&N, but to each their own).

Preformance first i guess ^^;;car is in pretty good shape though she needs new filters "cabin and engine" just took a whole forest out of the old ones. i was thinking K&N for the engine but might go CAI because it's not all that more expensive then the drop in around here .

welcome... intake, exhaust, and springs are #1 performance mods people go with. You can get overlays pretty cheap and add a nice note to the look of the car.

For performance I would recommend going Intake/Header/Exhaust.

uh-oh... never should have clicked on that grafxwerks.com link... might have to drop some money on wiping out the "pontiac red" on my car but they say i need to be sure i'm shopping for the right year/model... they don't have anything for the '07's!does any think that the front/rear/wheel arrowhad overlays will work on the '07 as well as the listed '05-'06???

yea the 05-06 should be the same Front Arrow Heads its the 03-04 that has a Different sized Front Arrow head, but every thing else should be picture perfect on all models. hakune:Welcome to the Family, like everyone has said Cold Air Intakes is the best first mod to do then also adding an exhaust system and lowering springs with a rear sway bar and front tower brace bar will also be good mods to begin with aswell. Good Luck on the Customizing your Vibe!
