Okay, Silver, if you insist on knowing the whole story, here's the link.http://www.wgal.com/news/10097181/detail.htmlIsn't it just more fun to joke on states that ranked lower than yours? Virginia is #6 by the way. Woo Hoo!

As expected, I'm an Arizonan who will take issue with this "award".Any determination of intelligence that uses education dollars per student and student-teacher ratios is askew if you ask me. While I would agree that parents should desire a low student-to-teacher ratio in order to provide more individualized attention, that in no way serves as an indication of intelligence. After all, teaching kids isn't like digging ditches. The value of a school should not be measured in the quantity of educators, but rather in the quality of the educators. And for those of you who believe throwing money at the problem will fix things, that's bad too. After all, if I spend $100,000 to educate a chimp, is that gonna make it exceptionally smart and highly intelligent? I don't think so.The survey does reveal that Arizona needs to address its education system, but if you ask me, this interpretation of intelligence is an effort to provide publicity to an otherwise ridiculous poll.I'm sorry, I'll step off of my soap box now and let everyone take a shot at me...

I know...I know it seems I took it too seriously, but I got home-state pride if you know what I mean...Some peeps out there don't apply critical thinking (yeah, I know, they are mostly from Arizona according to the latest intelligence reports, lol) and I'm just trying to toss out the critical eye....Consider me put in my place.

And there are a tonnnnn of kids from Mexico here in Tucson schools.
