iPod HELP!

I'm hoping you guys can help me with an iPod issue that is driving me crazy. I recently upgraded to iTunes 7.0 and don't know if maybe this is where my issue is. My iPod has decided to take it upon itself to change my album artwork at random. Recently I've noticed quite a few discs that I've imported into iTunes have the wrong cover art. I went into iTunes to change it, and on iTunes they are correct--only on the iPod is it wrong. At first I thought maybe I screwed up--happens all the time. But the other day I glanced down at an Elton John song that was playing--and that disc has been on the iPod almost since day one. But the artwork shown was the new Evanescence cd, which I just purchased on iTunes the day it was released. So the iPod changed the album artwork. Last night I plugged in the iPod, and SEVERAL times went into iTunes and unchecked the "Display Album Artwork", and synced the iPod, but not one time did it get rid of all the artwork. I suppose it isn't THAT big a deal, because it plays ok, but man, I'm (removed) about that stuff and this is driving me nuts! Does anyone have any great insight for me before I end up in a straightjacket???

sorry. i refuse to upgrade to their new 7.0 and i have my album art cover turned off. it eats more memory and i don't really care to see it. i just want my music or video/movies! LOL

are you using windows with your ipod?! windows and itunes 7 DO NOT WORK together...ive seen some nasty problems with them. itunes and mac os X work GREAT! I too will NOT upgrade to 7 on my winodws box.and mac's are > than life

duo core MAC > duo core PCnot to mention they are a thing of beauty! i am WOWed every time i see one or set one up for a customer. if my work APPs were not PC only, I'd have switched to a mac!

Yeah, if I had money, I'd be buying a Mac as my music computer, but I don't see that happening any time soon.

i would do a system restore to right before you upgraded to 7.0. the updates and upgrades, unless is antivirus or antispyware is hardly ever worth it!
