Hi Vibe people:I have a question. I am most likely going to buy my Vibe in the Summer. Do you think they might have a 2004 AWD Vibe available by that time or no?Also, if you know some relative who has a GM card, can you get a discount ?

The only changes are additions, the Supercharger (not available w/AWD) and body kits. A lady at work ordered a 2004, but the dealer couldn't tell her the prices, but I don't think they will be changing, much....Good choice on the Vibe, we our cars...I'll leave the discount questions to other experts.... Cheers

quote: Also, if you know some relative who has a GM card, can you get a discount ?Check out the GM Card website for info on the card. http://www.gmcard.com Orig card (Blue/Gold) can save up to $3,500 and use on a Vibe. New card (copper/Platinum) can save up to $1,000 on 2003 Vibes (2004 numbers not out yet that I have seen). Amounts can be transfered within same address to a noncard holder. If at different address, buyer can be added as an authorized user on the account and should be able to use the savings.

Since they've stalled offering the supercharger for 2003's ("first of the year", ya, right!), I'll bet it's offered as an option on the 2004s or they'll be a Vibe "SC" version like there is a PT Cruiser "Turbo" version now.Just a guess, though.KSNeptune.
I heard they're adding a new paint color (yellow?) and changing the instrument panel light color (red too hard to read supposedly). I was hoping they'd fix some of the minor bugs from the first year like the dash rattles and funky emission smells that some people had complained about. I was looking into buying a 2004 Vibe later this year too. haven't heard much about when they're coming out tho'. Early summer maybe?
I didn't realize they axed Envy. I was considering getting it since it's not as common. Most vibes I see are satellite or shadow around here.I just found the other posts about the 2004 changes here http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=1444 Guess it's old news!
hi macro,I had a chance to look at all the different colors that the Vibes come in. My wife and I were really thinking that the Envy color would be the one we wanted....We got to the dealership and saw the Envy color. GM/ Pontiac has a good reason to drop that color. It was about the color of the inside of an avacado. To us it just did not seem to be a very good color for such a good looking car. We decided to go for a Salsa AWD.
I guess it's a good thing it's gone then. I never did see it up close in person. Still I wish they replaced it with a better green instead of the new yellow. I've seen some other models that looked really cool in green.
In response to where you can see and read info on the S/C and the body kit...go to http://www.pontiac.com click on Vibe then go to accessorize your vibe and click on what you want to see.Shadow
