The metal is a lot thinner on cars these days, hail damage does not surprise me no matter what the size anymore. Sucks!

Been there. I guess I was lucky I had one of those paintless dent removal places do it that was set up by my insurance company. $3000 in damage, mostly to the hood and roof, a some to the doors. It was only marble sized. Good luck getting it fixed.

our bodyshop has its own rack just for hail damage.Big time insurace claims. Golf ball hail although fun to watch makes some good sixed dents in hoods, roofs and peoples heads if they are caught running through it. Suprising more sunroofs are not broken when its bad like that.

Damaged both of our cars. My 04 Cavalier(since sold for the vibe) and my wifes 2000 cavalier. We had my cavalier fixed to the tune of 6800.00 Hood, deck, were replaced. Roof, doors and fenders were poped and filled. The entire car was repainted from top to bottom. We chose not to get my wifes car fixed because if we did. They would have totaled the car. Her car is white and the dents left behind aren't too noticeable.Yes that is black top covered with hail This is what it did to my steel shed. Just think about what it did to a cavalier!
