magna flow muffler

Post by lordyogi »

hey all,i just had a magnaflow muffler installed yesterday. not sure of the model number, but it is really nice. It does sound a little ricey at 3k rpm but it dies out and has a real nice race sound at higher rpm. you have to expect a ricey noise with the whole 4-cylinder DOHC but ill live.I am not going to touch any other part of the exhaust until i possibly get a turbo or something that needs more flow. Just a recommendation to all of you fellow Vibe drivers i wouldnt go much bigger than the stock exhaust piping. They were really generous to give us 2 1/4" piping from the cat-back. At the many muffler shops i spoke to they confirmed that unless you are supercharging or turboing just leave the exaust alone, cept for the really really restrictive muffler they gave us.yogi
