Keeper's Garage

Post by Keeperofthecode »

Alright, here's what's in my garage everybody.2004 Vibe that I'm hopin' you guys can give some help on deciding wheel size. It's got the factory 16" wheels now, should I put 17s or 18s on it? In other words, if I drop it 1.5" will the 18s clear without modding the inner fender? Here's my bike--it's an 85 Kawasaki Eliminator with the 900CC engineIt's a bad pic, but I never have managed to take another of it, that was from the night I brought it home. Here's my race car. Sitting in the garage since our last race because I'm afraid to tear the motor apart since it started knocking on the last pass it made at the track. It has a 730 HP 355 from Hendricks Motorsports complete with drysump, MSD and the works. Everything on this motor is custom, even the bearings. I could never typically afford a motor like this, but it was a perk of knowing someone that worked in the pits at a cup race. It does, or shall I say it did, go through 240Ft of mud in 3.5 seconds. We were playing with the 2 stage MSD shift system when we popped it, we were hoping to have NOS on it for the next race, but now it's going to have to be next season. Not pictured is 2003 Montero Sport and an 1980 Chevy 4WD short wheel base truck. Your not missing anything not seeing the truck, it's one of those trucks that you don't worry about too much, just drive the crap out of it. It's an awesome truck to drive because there's not many places it can't go. Right now it's getting a fresh motor, fuel pump leaked into the motor and we all know what happens then. BOOOMMMM!!!!! Anyways, it'll be back better than ever, i just got to get off my (removed) and finsh installing the new engine.

Looks good... like the bike.Get some 17' or 18's... you wont have rub issues if you drop it either.

if you stay with the original overall diameter, rim size is irrelevant as to whether or not the wheels will rub.
