Newbie

Post by mathteacher'04vibe »

I'm new here, and have made a few upgrades to my '04 base auto. In the first two weeks of ownership, I have a K&N Typhoon(loud sucking noise), fullboar muffler w/3.5" resonator tip (mellow tone) & SilverStar headlights (very bright). Loving the re-badged Matrix so far...
'04 Vibe 1.8VVT-i, K&N Typhoon S/R, Fullboar muffler w/3.5" resonator tip. Sony CDX-GT500 h/u + Fosgate mono amp w/2 10" woofers & cap. Tinted side rear windows, SilverStar headlights and Cool Blue fogs. DC Sports Headers. 2.5" stainless pipe from stock resonator to muffler. Limited 903's (17x7.5) Gunmetal Gray with 225/45/R17 Strata tires. Link to my photobucket videos: http://s100.photobucket.com/al...ideos/

t-cam, Yes, my wife is telling me to slow down at then end of the 1st vid clip. The bad thing about the vibe being "cammy" is that to hear the engine and really make it run, you are speeding (w/auto at least). Shift points are at 40mph (1-2) and 75mph (2-3). I live in a 25mph town, so I don't get many chances to get "on the cam."Ajflan--Resonator tips are exhaust tips that have packing in them to muffle the sound a bit. The larger they are, the more mellow the tone. And yes, I teach high school math in my spare time LOL. I am also taking online masters classes.
