So I want to add my amp.. and I was wondering if I have to use a line level converter... I don't want to sacrifice my rear door speakers... Is there another way? I have a NON M&T, but are the wires there where the rear sub would be? or is that asking too much?
I know that.. I worded my question badly. What I want to know.. is do I Have to use the line converter behind the head unit.. or are there speaker wires run to the back where the Moons/Tunes sub WOULD be had i gotten that?and if i use the converter at the head unit, won't that cut off my rear speakers?
No, there are no wires that go to the back if you had the sub. Even if there were, they would end up under the passenger seat and not the radio. You don't have to completely disconnect your speakers to connect a line-level converter. You just tap it in to the existing wiring.
