Yeah, that looks awesome, Mike! Wish my car was that cool, I just chopped holes in my little left drawer and got some sucky gauges! When I get rich I'm going to have to buy that set-up off of you! Not sure the color either off-hand without actually going outside and looking at my car, and at almost 2am I don't think I'm going to be able to see much! lol That, and with all the problems I tend to have with everything, I'm not sure you would want to copy what I did anyways!

Hmm, yeah, I tapped in at the plug in the engine bay like Mike is showing, just not sure of the color. Probably 80% sure it is the Blue like everyone has been saying.

Lancer thanks alot... my buddy didnt wanna tap into factory stuff just for later occasions (fixing/selling)but ill see if that works. We tried at the sensor wires and didnt get anything, we poked a hole and touched wires, but nothing.when we touched the negative battery with it the gauge moved?Ill try that and see if it works. And they are prosport gauges from prosportgagues.comI like them alot... but if you ever get them let me know... so i can tell you what stuff you need to get. like the 25$ sender attatchment off glowshift gauges.

Sometimes touching the wont be good enough, youll have to strip a section and wrap the wire around it securely.

um. i dont know, i didnt check that. i dont know how different in color they are... my buddy just said its better to tap it at the sensor so if i get rid of the gauges and replace the sensor it would look like i didnt mess with it.so we just tried there.

I know why you're doing it there but the manual shows different color wires than your sensor has. I'll go check my car and get back to you...

Well that didn't help... the manual shows black, black, pink and brown as the colors. The car has black, black, pink, white. But, the blue wire should be "heater control." The white (at least in the picture) should be "low reference." The black above the blue wire is "input." The other black is also part of the heater function.

The blue one should be for the o2 heater control. Not the one you want. Looking at Autometer's directions I think you want the black one above the blue wire since that is the input wire (assuming input to the PCM).

Sorry! I forgot about the plug differance, too. I found it by attaching one end of a long wire to the sensor sender wire then hooked up my multimeter to it. Set it to make the tone and started poking around until I found the wire that made the tone. Took about 20 minutes to find it.

Umm, I think it would be #23... I don't think the low reference wire is the one you want, judging by autometer's directions, so the white wire probably won't work.

Looking on 9thgencorolla.com it appears everyone uses the blue wire for the signal. But they all appear to be '04 and older models... MO appears to be down so that was no help. Good luck with this...

Maybe if we can find out what the name of the blue wire on the older Vibes is we can figure out which to use on the newer?!?

Your ECU is accesed from under the dash, under the glove box. In your first, third and fourth pic you have the 'gold' screw that holds it in place in the upper left corner of the pic. There's a cover under the ecu held up by 2 plastic tabs. Just pull hard on those and the cover will hangby the front. Remove the 2 screws and you can drop the ecu to work on it.
