Stock anti-theft/Anti-start

Hello,i always thought my 03 Vibe GT had an stock anti-start... Afterall my wonderous Winstar 99 has this stock (in the key)... Also i have a little red light blinking in the radio.... But my assurance guy tell me that nop... Vibe doesnt come with a stock anti-start system... anyone can help me on this?

No anti-start on the Vibe in the key or otherwise. Some uninformed installers will tell you they need a key with the chip to install a remote starter but you don't. The red blinking light is just a cheap bluff.

its probably for the best... if there was a chipped key and you needed a new one- then who would program it for us... GM dealers would claim we have to go to Toyota and Toyota would tell you to go back to Pontiac.. and on and on.I'm glad its straightforward... get an alarm &/or remote start with ign kill. Dont mess with chips and extra keys.It's better this way

Speaking of Anti-start, anyone have/put in a fuel pump cut off switch/button/thingy?
