At the 2006 Texas State Fair Autoshow Pontiac had their vehicles displayed, but no Vibe or Grand Prix. Salesman said Grand Prix was being discontinued after this year, so they were just not advertising it. He said Vibe was left out because of lack of room, but they had two Solstice cars. Vibe was also the red-headed step child in the 2007 Pontiac brochure, with only two pages, where all other cars had four. Salesman confirmed dropping GT and AWD versions. No other changes were noted in the salesman's cheat sheet book.

The GP is being discontinued? hmm.... What if I don't want a solstice (i really do but that's not the point) what if I want a backseat or room to actually put something other than some golf clubs or one suitcase. Yeah the solstice is awesome but everyone allready knows it's out there. you can't help but know about them... why 2 of them and no vibe? There's no vibe in the new GM warranty commercial either....
