Post by DarkShocker »

Well i had a light go out in my Heater / Ac control area so i was going to change it well i decided i need to take the shift knob off and not even thinking i ripped the wire that hook up to the O/D button right out one i sheared right off and the other only the terminal ripped out of the switch but the other wire its toast. I did the exact same thing while replacing the bulb that lights the gear indicator. I had to take the O/D switch out of the shifter and bring it into the workbench. I soldered some small guage wire (24 guage from cat5 ethernet) directly into the O/D switch and made it long enough for the handle to be removed without straining the wire. I'd classify that as a poor design. Just changing a bulb became a huge project.
I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code
