I think Andre's (now Dug's) Vibe had that painted that way and the front lower cross-bar as well. Do both.

I was actually thinking of having that painted for a while now, but couldn't decide on whether or not it would look good. Looks good to me, so I think I'm gonna do it. Just gotta find a place that won't charge too much.
Also, what would the front lower cross bar look like painted? If anyone could photoshop that(preferably a silver vibe) it would be greatly appreciated.

Funny, I was just thinking that the other day. Just the lower front part with the split in the middle. Thought it might look good that way.

Sorry, try again. There's actually quite a few that have done this to the rear bumper (not all are on this site). I'm sure Devlop had his done a long time ago. But don't let that stop you from doing it. It looks good painted that way. You can still be the only vibe with it in your town, I bet. My little matchbox vibe is actually painted like that on the bumper.

You know what, after seeing the new front end, it might not look right to do the front b/c that lower bar goes from left to right all the way across. On the older front end it didn't, just look at Lancer's pic for comparison.

ballrubs 03-04 bumper with the sports package looks wierd... if teh crossbar was lower, where the sport fascias were it would look better. The 05 bumper looks pretty cool. more like trix front end, but still kinda odd. Thanks though cole

Quote, originally posted by NascarXprt »heres Mikes 05 front painted: I guess form this pic it doesn't look too bad. I thought that b/c the bar goes all the way across unlike the '03/04 it might look weird, but you should be OK if it comes out like this pic.

if i could grab that bumper off you in the future... i would use urs and fiberglass then end of the black to meet with the front of the lip... so that black area is cut off from the rest of the bumper, if you can get the idea.Maybe cole can add that in and we can see what i mean.but thats a project far from now
