Good Job!

Post by rasermon »

I received a encouraging e-mail today at work. I work for a company (Bay Carbon Inc) that manufactures spectroscopic carbon electrodes for chemical and oil analysis. My job title is quality control manager, that can be very stressful at times. I seldom ever get e-mail related to good news, but this one tops it.-----Original Message-----From: ***** Paul MSgt 926 LG/LGMFN To: rasermon@baycarbon.comDate: Monday, March 24, 2003 10:54 PMSubject: Good Job!GreetingsI just wanted to take a moment and thank Bay Carbon for an outstanding product which performed flawlessly out here in Kuwait and Afghanistan. Our planes and helos have been flying with full confidence thanks to a trust placed in Bay Carbon. May God bless you all and the United States of America.Paul W. ******, MSgt, USAFR(504) ***-****

quote:what exactly do you make? Graphite (carbon) spectrographic electrodes.quote:what is the use in the military??Military laboratories use our product to perform spectrographic oil analysis. Spectrometric analysis determines the elemental concentration of various wear metals, contaminants, and additives present in a used oil sample. Results are usually reported in ppm (parts per million). In other words, if Silicon (Si) is high (ppm) in the oil sample they know exactly where the problem is in there equipment.
