Headlight protector

Post by miked »

I would like to know if there is such a thing as headlight/fog protector. Not something clumsy as seen on EBAY that only is a sticker put on the light. I personnaly think that these sticker wont protect anything exept. The only thing it's gona do is that no hole will appear, but the light will still be cracked.thanks

you could get plastic covers like the ones on the car behind the a-hole in this pic:they also make clear ones.try ultimatepontiac.com or ventvisor.com to name a couple.

But now, Are there some for the for light? That are pretty cheap, and subject to braking.

Not sure if there are any covers you could buy for the fogs... I think that some around here has kicked around the idea of making some custom lexan covers...I have a pair of amber overlays over my fogs that I ordered from bluebatmobile. Not sure how much protection an overlay can give, I would think it may keep the lights from getting too terribly pitted. Unfortunately, mine already were before I got the overlays.

Just tried Meguiar's PLASTX clear cleaner & polish, on my headlights without any concreate success again. Tried several similar product also, with no great result. Looking on net for any other cure and found this... http://www.weathertech.com/sto..._id=0 May be some of us should stick this before it's too late.

plastic clip on headlight protectors are available all over... check your local parts store, Pep boys, Autozone or in Canada Canadian Tire or Parts Source has them. For fogs PM- MiVibe-ToolGuy, he makes custom lexan covers. There is nothing else I have found that will work well against rocks for the fogs. CAN-AWD-VIBE

Thanks for info, but looking for "headlight protection". Already have plastic cover on "fog lamp".Nothing found at local Canadian Tire or local shop for headlight, yet.

Thanks CAN-AWD-VIBEI'd rather like "clear" instead of "smoke" lens. Legally speaking, I don't think that our province laws accept smoked lens (unless you're indian... LOL) If anyone find this, let me know.
