Any pics available. If so please post them. I am interested in how it looks if it different or not. I would assume others would be interested as well...Also let us know if it is a big difference in the throw. The gt already has a pretty short throw from gear to gear.Thanks

The only changes is the piece that connects to the linkage. Once the console is reinstalled you can't tell a difference. The throws are shortened up a good amount, but it takes more force to shift. The old thing that if you make a lever shorter it takes more force. After 2 weeks of using it, I can tell a little improvement, but I'd recommend against it. I don't feel that the cutting is worth it since it can't go back.

I would say it's a lot stiffer. The stick doesn't giggle around in neutral anymore. The only time I misshifted was after a lot of city driving around Cincinnati after being lost and I just got mentally dumb. I think it's easier to hit gears since you have less time to screw up if that makes sense.

I'm worried that there is a lot more side load on this linkage. Was the pic taken in Neutral?If you say that your shift throws are a lot shorter, is that about 25% shorter like the catalogs say? Is the effort just 25% higher too? I wouldn't have a problem if it is just that old lever formula at work. I'm worried that there is more to it - like there's more effort because the side loading lowers efficiency...Thanks - your response will probably determine if I do this soon...

The picture was probably in neutral, though I can't say 100%. The shift is 25% shorter but that feels a lot more since going out of gear saves 25% and going into the next saves 25%. It's not 25% going from one gear into another. I'm not sure what you mean by side load? The effort to me seems to be proportional or 25%. The angle really isn't that much more than stock, though the pics seem that way. I wish I could give more detail, but after 3 weeks, it feels normal
