I have the WORST luck!

Post by NewNeptune »

So I got my car back yesterday. It had/needed:- Oil Change- Tire Rotation- Leaking tire- Pulling to the left- Grey driver's door panel popped in- Cracked winshieldAll of those were fixed (tire had a nail, winshield was covered by insurance). So I'm driving it home yesterday, thinking this is great service, I got my car all fixed up and running great again. And then on an entrance ramp today, BAM! A Nissan Titan kicked up a rock and chipped my new winshield! I wonder how I'm going to explain this to my insurance company. Well, at least I have a $0 deductible. On a side note, the dealership is Coulter Motor Company in the Tempe Autoplex. Great service!

Yep, I had a '98 Ford Ranger for a 2 year lease. I replaced the winshiled 3 times!

I took a look at it on the way to lunch. It's small now and relatively unnoticeable among the many bug splats on there. If it doesn't turn into a crack, I may leave it until I get hit by a bigger rock.

get the chip repaired/patched before it gets a chance to crack and split further.

Oh, that sucks! That's pretty bad luck indeed! Sounds like something that would happen to me.

Just when I thought it couldn't get worse, I ran into a curb. Ruined the front driver's side tire and hub cap. On the bright side, I get to put on new tires to replace the crappy OEM tires. I'm looking forward to that. Luckily, they put a donut on that lasts 3k miles, so I can make it to payday.

Dear lord! Your car has that same damn storm cloud right above it at all times, just like my Vibe had! Man, this just blows. Are you sure you didn't buy used and ended up with my old car? lol!

Really, the car is fine, it's just my stupid driving that took the tire out. I hate parking spots with concrete curbs next to them.More bright side: My gas mileage should be good this tank, considering I can only go up to 55 MPH (shhhhhh, don't tell the spare, it thinks it can only go 50).
