Hardwiring a XM Unit... I need some power

I don't know how much power these units draw but I was considering leaching off something that exists as long as the load can take it OR just running another line off the fuse box.If worse came to worse I'd just run another line from the battery in and trigger it via a relay.Anyone know where the best place to tap into for a XM Roady XT? I still need the converter box but I'm planning ahead.

XMFanStore seems to carry the 12V to 5Volt adaptor that I need for the Roady. BestBuy didn't carry the remotes or the convertors so I'm going to be doing this install at a later date.I guess that gives me some time to look around and find the fuse box and firewall grommet just in case.The specs are that the adaptor uses 2000MA so I would guess I could tap either the radio wire or the cigarette lighter power wire and have no issues with blowing any fuses.

The best way to do it is take power off the ACC line going to the back of the radio. Also ground it off the wiring harness for the radio. This will prevent any possible 'noise' issues and that circuit will more than handle the amount of power the roady needs.Just search around for wiring diagrams or Vibe ACC and you should find it.
