solsticey goodness

Post by GrayFox »

As you know, I live in a town of about 10k ppl so the day finnaly arived when the local pontiac dealer got one (there are 2 that I've seen running around town)So I went on saturday to have a look see. BEAUTIFUL! I love these cars sooooo much. I never asked to drive it b/c I figured they would laugh at me, but my daughter and I sat in it for a while and I talked to a sales lady I know there.Maybe when I get the vibe paid off, just maybe..... *sigh*They had two brand spanking new G6 convertibles beside it, they were awesome looking as usual.

i read in a magazine that there will be a new option out there for the solstice. it will be a hard top part and will be sold through the dealer, available in all ext. colors, and it will resemble the Chevy Nomad concept. there will also be one out for the Sky aswell.

The Nova Concept was a Hatch back. So would the hard top go over the trunk area too? .

Haven't heard of the Nova... But there was a Chevy Nomad concept based on the same platform as the Solstice. A lil' 2-door RWD wagon. They'll never build it though. And IMHO they're idiots for not, that thing is sweet!

Looks to me like it has hints of the 1953 Corvette in the front...

The Solstice's platform has promise, sucks to see 'em stop at the Solstice and Sky! No telling what sort of small, unique car they could create if they put their minds to it.Here's some pics I just found: http://www.seriouswheels.com/t...t.htm
