New tires....A steal of a deal!!

Post by philndz »

Well after starting that long winded topic about the Conti's.....After extensive research I ordered 4 Kumho Ectsa 711's from Tire Rack...$56/tire...and only 30 bucks shipping for the lot to st.louis. I'm very happy...thats a real good deal. If anyone is interested in these....they dont make them in our stock size...you have to get somthing just a little wider... 225-50-R16-Phil

I had Kuhmo's on my Camry and loved them. They really are good tires.

So I agree that it is a good deal, considering its a great price to pay for the tires you really want.

Phil.............have you put these tires on your Vibe yet? If so, did you notice any difference in your gas milage? Notice any difference in turning or handling? Thanks........Don

hahaha....well, the answer to your question is no. I am cheap cheap cheap and I'm running my conti's into the ground before I switch to the Kuhmo's .....my front tires are already illegal and I think I will rotate them soon so that I can make my rear tires illegal too...win this mission is accomplished I will take my new tires and $40.00 to Walmart and laugh at their faces when they see my almost smooth racing slicks. I just want to bleed every last dollar out of the continental tires because I'm so disappointed with them !
