Crazy axe ship

Post by GMJAP »

The wife came home the other day with a new 'lectric toothbrush with an LCD display on it.Of all the things in my life that needed an LCD display, I would've put my toothbrush right up there with the hammer and sanding block. It tells you how long you've been brushing and other stuff, but you can't see it while you're brushing your teeth. To look at it, you'd have to take it out of your mouth at which point it sprays toothpaste and crap everywhere. Now, speaking as someone whose career is electronic engineering, all this stuff is getting out of hand....

Here's one that still makes me laugh:When we bought our first washer and dryer, the washer had, among the other wash settings, one called......wait for it..."Hand Washables"

Golly, what will they think of next? What a swell idea!!! Does it at least beep at you to let you know you've brushed your teeth long enough? Or does it just keep track of the time? If like beeped or shut off or something, that'd be cool, since you'd know to keep brushing instead of quitting early... And we all know that the key to proper oral hygene is not only the amount of brushing you do, but the duration you do it! I'm holding out until the video version comes out before I swing for one... I mean really, what good is a fancy toothbrush if you can't watch pr0n on the stupid thing? heh You people with your gizmos, sheesh! When will it end? I don't have time for this, really... I have to go take a dump and listen to my iPod toilet paper holder thingy now. (removed)

My toothbrush changes speeds from high to low and back a couple of times to tell you you've been brushing for the recommended 2 minutes. I like it, a manual toothbrush is way too much work. Manual is for transmissions.

Yes it is ridiculous! My TB beeps when you should switch sides. As far as the fridge and its electronics... More and more appliances have modules like a car now and of course more can go wrong with them! Keep your old fridge or old stuff, that is all I have to say!
