Post by 808 Vibes »

do you have the cover? My Neptune's production date sticker says "6/06". I'll check Frosty's production date sticker tomorrow, but Frosty has the cover.Just thought I'd check with other late-production '06 Vibes

Unfortunately that isn't something the factory installs...it's something the dealer is supposed to install before they deliver it to you. It's in a little plastic bag somewhere in the car that often gets overlooked and thrown away when the car is being prepped. Mine didn't have one either and it's a mid-year production '03...a lovely nice member on here sent me one though. The dealer should be able to order it, I think they're about $2.

And if you don't have it - so what?I suspect that i don't have those underneath plugs either. All part of the fine GM Customer Service - which is probably no worse than FORD, CHRYSLER or even . . . TOYOTA! I hear they DO get paid by GM for "dealer prep". There is plenty of incompetency to go around.

Mine has it, just purchased mine new in July 06. I found some packaged rubber plugs in the glove box, rectangular shape. Any idea what these are for?

I did find THOSE, packaged plastic rubber plugs tagger-tailed to the floor mat. I couldn't figure out what those were for either, and why it was tagger-tailed to the floor mat.

they sound like (since there is no pic) the body plugs the dealer was suppose to put in underneath the car. the plugs cover the tie down holes from shipping
