tensioner pully

Well just got abck from the shop after having my driver side wheel bearing replaced.....just found out that the acc. belt tensioner is going.ughhhhh.toyota wants 256$ cdn for it........UGHHHHHHHHHH....but i think i can get a aftermarket for it for around 100$ CDN...the garge guy told me he use to work at toyota and that that pully is a major prob for toyota for years......he said the corolla was famous for it.....i have 104,000kms on her..seems to be still to early for a prob like that....this prob = toyota has not better quality then GM.

Well today is your lucky day, Vibe_Dude! I have one that I bought a while ago for the same reason, but mine will be able to be replaced under warranty. I was just thinking about posting this one for sale too.It is froom an '04 Vibe with only 5,000 miles on it. It is in like new condition as you can see from the pics below. What kind of syptoms was your car experiencing that made them look at the acc. belt tensioner?
