i have foundout what the Wave color looks like. it is so geuorgeous i love it better than the Neptune! i got a few shots before i had to work check em out.this one was suposed to be the night shot but it didnt turn out too well but oh well.
*WAVEs* Looks like a cross between Chevy's Arrival Blue (a.k.a. Pontiac's Electric Blue) and that blue color Toyota puts on whatever trucks those are with whatever sport package that is on them.. Yeah, I made some sense there. I'm not feelin' the 2-tone stuff though... It looks ok, but I think this would be best left with monotone. It just doesn't look like it would be able to look good in either form the way Neptune can.At any rate, always cool to have this "barely there" paint applied in a new color to get all chipped up! Add a bit more diversity, you know?

you mean the Tundra X-Runner. i think its closer to that Matrix M-Theory special edition thing Toyota just released. but its still a great from Pontiac

I don't think it is, or at least on the ten zillion of those things running around here now it doesn't look like it... The one on the truck is metallic, right? Looks to me like it is.Glad to see the Vibe one is a metallic. I don't really like non-metallic blues that much...

Not too bad but I guess to me, it's just "too blue"..Like most have said, maybe in monotone it would look better, but perddy dang sure I still woulda picked my Stealth....
2006 Stealth ...Drove off the lot on 7-17-06..Only add ons are the pinstriping, perddy dark tinted windows (20 on the back and 30 on the front I think), and now the Weathertech bug deflector....Thanx for an awesome site and fantastic folks !
I was passing a dealership and I noticed what seemed to be a lighter/brighter shade of blue then Neptune, anyone seen/have/ or even know what I'm talking about? I think it was an '05 or '06, cause of the grille. And while on the subject, is there any noticeable difference in the exterior of the vibe or the years of ‘05 & ‘06. What about the ‘03 & ‘04?

Had a Wave sighting yesterday but silly me, forgot to get a pic! So, I cruised by the dealer on my way home from work today to get a couple. It's a really sharp color! The appearance in pictures doesn't seem to flatter it though, it looks like it has a tendency to appear more obnoxious than it really is. It is bright, but not overpowering (at least I don't think it is.)IMHO, it is good so not in 2-tone, but in monotone it sure is sweet!

I thought the new 06 colour was that slatey blue colour or was that a new 05 colour? Anyway this is the first I've heard of/seen a wave blue Vibe! Interesting!

Unfortunately the hubby won't let me trade Sputnik in for it.... much as I love Sputnik, once in a while I get a urge for a new one.

More pics! And in a greater amount of daylight. Pardon the bird feces and dirt all over this car, apparently this dealer does not care about keeping their inventory looking good since everything on the lot looked just as bad. One thing though, NUMMI's paint job still SUCKS! Sometime last year, I saw an '06 monotone on a lot that had some terrible, horrible, nasty looking cladding. I hoped it was an isolated incident. The finish was so dull in spots, wavy, it just looked like absolute crap - like someone took a SPRAY CAN to the rocker panels. It is with great displeasure that I report this car is no different! Shame on you, NUMMI/Toyota/GM for letting something leave the factory looking like this. JMHO of course. The attached pic shows it (but the more obvious flaws are actually the dirt.) But up close in person, it looks really bad. It's not easy to paint plastic, but they can do better than that. The paint on the bumpers looked good, why can' they duplicate that with the rocker panels?

There's a Matrix at one of the Toyota dealers in that color. I've been meaning to take a picture of it becasue it was different looking but I keep forgetting. I had no idea they were making it an option on the Vibe too.Looks like the same color as the Autocross Vibe...I like it alot personally.
Oh yeah, pinstriping is alive and well, 'specially around here. Some dealers by me will mark up $100 for pinstriping on a car that doesn't even have it! I ended up with some on mine for a better price, I'm not complainin', I like the looks of it alright. At least they didn't rip me off too bad on it. heh! This Vibe featured little Pontiac emblems on the front doors, how cute! That must be at least an extra $100 on top of whatever they were charging! I never bothered to look at the window sticker.
