New GenViber in Sin City!

Post by azsapphire87 »

I've been lurking for a couple months now, I don't really have a reason why. Immediately fell in love with the website and especially this forum.I've been reading up on auxiliary audio device installs here, and now that one is finally on its way to my doorstep and into my 04, I've decided to join and give back to the community what it's given me and more.I was the first to drive my Neptune baby... and am the primary of 3 drivers who have ever had the pleasure of setting themselves behind the wheel.I love seeing all the pictures and hearing all the great mods that people are doing out there with their Vibes, and being that my first vibe is my first car ever, I don't think I'll buy anything else (at least for a while! )

I would have to guess its photoshoped in, doubt there is room in the guage cluster to put that in *shrug*But what exactly is a Limo Rear hatch glass? Is it the tint level?

Thanks for the warm welcomes!I do love the Vibe. I have yet to name it though, I feel like I've been neglecting it now, since I've had it for so long. You guys were right, it is photoshop. Now that I think of it, that would be a cool mod, since there's no pride mark anywhere on the gauges. The link to the original image is below, as well as the link to the original picture. I did all the 'shop work myself, using the vibe logo image I found here.http://oneitalianstallion.com/images/Vibe.jpg (1070kb)http://oneitalianstallion.com/images/100_2835.JPG (211kb)Yes, the limo means tint level, approx. 10% (not quite legal here in NV, but I haven't been stopped for it )So if I find a way to add a pride mark to the gauges, I'll let you guys know. I'm thinking that if it can be done, my ideas will be for the vibe logo (in choice of colors) and/or the pontiac dart. An OLED of some type might work, kind of the way smart-glass does. Hook it up to the electronics that light the gauges, so when the electric current flows through, it will light up in all its glory, and when the car's off, it will be opaque, visible in the daytime too.Yeah, I'm likin' this! Now to enlist a couple of my electrical engineer friends...

welcome to the site. great choice of color. it reminds me of what mine looked like before i had the mod bug. and that sounds very kool if you can get that to work on the guages. i think also just adding a decal of some sort would work great for the day.
