Post by HaVoK01 »

i just bought a preprogram emange from MWR..... My friends is going to install it for me.... Im also going to get my car dyno pretty soon.... my ? is once its connected is it ready to go or do i need to get it tweak a little bit more... if i dont it be good because that saves me and extra 200... also my friend i need a wideband connection... i thought that was only if i need to change the A/F or rpm...

Welcome to GenVibe!BlueCrush is the answerman on Emanage, but if you got it from MWR (MonkeyWrenchRacing), it should be good to go. Not sure I understand your question about wideband...sorry.

the wideband(from which i read from the internet) is way to change and moniter the a/f and rpm... it comes with a a/f gauge with the o2sensor... it connects to the e-manage

The N/A preprogrammed e-manage from MWR is just a base map. You will notice a very slight increase in power. To get the most out of it, you should get it tweaked on the dyno. Your dyno shop will have a wibeband O2 hook up for tuning, so you won't need to buy one separately unless you are going to be street tuning it yourself with a laptop while driving. (not recommended).
