Trying to find the best ride quality

Post by BartlesvilleVIBE_03 »

I was set on the Hotchkis TVS Kit for awhile. Then I heard about the Tein S-tech springs and how they lower your car with out depreciating the ride quality. So.... I need some advice. What do you think the best spring is out on the market today, that gives you an awesome ride quality and good looking lowered stance? (excluding coilovers)~Kevin

Wow, I wonder who has enough experience with this stuff to know something like that?!?! I have had Pro-kits, Springtech, and Hotchkis. Hard to say which was best. Pro-kits were the highest and most comfortable. Springtechs were cool but I bought a TVS kit so I swapped them for Hotchkis. Ride-height-wise they were about the same I think. Gonna be a tough 1 to say which is the best and best looking.

I think ride quality depends on the driver. the lower you go the more the car will be stiff, the more stock like ones keep that bounce feel...Oh from what i hear the skunk2's are just horrid, i was looking into those too a while ago.I say if you dont have too much of a snow problem tein s. I have snow in MN and dont want to swap springs twice a year so im going hotchkis, fairly good drop and a semi stock but better handling.

Eibach Prokit and the TRD Springs will give you the best ride quality, but the also lower your car the least. So there is a trade off. It just depends on which is more important for you.

I have had the springtechs on for about a year now. Great looking, probably lowered it over 2". the ride is a little bouncy though. I have never regretted it though.

Just lowered my ride with the Tien S-Tech and I like the way it ride's and handles the road and the ride look's good the way it sit's. Also what wheel and tire pkg are you going to run on your vibe will give you an idea how low you want to go( SAY NO TO WHEEL GAP!)lol.... nuvibe

I'd say Stechs from my experience. I rode in Nuvibe's car a couple weeks ago and it rode better than the Progress I had, or the Eibach equiped vehicles I've been in in the past.

What happened to TRD springs-Same as Eibach Prokit

Post by lexicon »

You missed the TRD, plenty of people have this set-up. I have read but not confirmed that the TRD are re-branded Eibach Prokit. IF that is the case, then you can alter your survey.Anyone comment on this?

yeah i think i heard TRD was the eibachs..but i cant confirm that. TRD has the most stock like ride and doesnt lower the car much. I like my hotchkis ones, they lower it to a perfect height and they dont bounce to much but handle like crazy! i love them
