Has anyone put new front end on an 03 body

Post by high revin »

Thinking of restoring my car and up dateing the front end to a newer front nose has anybody done this yet? Looks like its just the front facia seems pretty simple but was wondering if any one has done this and the problems they may have faced?

Why would you want to do this? Seems like a lot of work for little benefit. IMHO I like the old fascia better...but that's just me I guess.

Kari good point i do like the front end but have a small crack in it and its been painted once already and it gets beat up pretty good even with the bra on it at times but the new front is kinda growing on me and it look sas if its just a matter of changing the front facia

Not to mention, you'd probably have to get a new hood.

I believe the hood is the same in all of the Vibe's model years so far. It looks a little different, so there have been some debates about that in the past, but I'm pretty sure tnpartsguy checked the part numbers and they were identical.

yup hoods the same for all years, its just the front facia thingy. which should fit no issue either. the psycovibe kit fits all years too if you wanted a "body kit".

Hey, If you ask around, maybe you can mate up folks that want the old look with those that want the new. Ask around and find someone with the same color, meet up at one place and do both at the same time....everyone wins!

dude the interior is awesome but im sry man the front looks ugly well thats my opinionas for changing the front end of your vibe i personally like the 03/04 not just because i have 03' i just think it gives it a more agresive look to the vibe, sry guys but the 05' and up look to round and egg looking to me well thats to me i would rather keep the front end you have right now
