Keeps dying

Post by TheShadow »

Ok so I was out cruising Saturday night and I got on it a little. I was coming to a red light and pushed the clutch in and eased on the brake to stop and my RPMs dropped so low that the car died. I started it and it was idling fine and while I am driving it is fine. Just when I am coming to a stop and push the clutch in the car dies. Any ideas?

I was thinking maybe a vaccum leak somewhere so I checked all the connections and made sure they were tight. It hasnt happened again but I have been babying it so we will see how it goes. Thanks Jason! Your vibe is pretty sweet too! Did you ever find anything in TX?

Sounds like a vacuum line problem. You could always try to verify that by pulling/pinching a vac line in idle. You said you "got on it a little"...did you use your nitrous any?
