I'm not "into" roller coasters, and in fact have never been to Cedar Point, but check out this page which has a bunch of pics of a new roller coaster "Top Thrill Dragster" going up there.400' drop, 120mph. I just may have to head down there when they get it done.http://www.rcdb.com/installationgallery ... Later,Carl
I head up there (Cedar Point) about 3x a year. It's about a 2 hr ride up there.I have a season pass to Six Flags Worlds of Adventure being I only live about 50 minutes from there. I frequent Six Flags about 10x a season. BTW, i'm a coaster freak! I can't wait to ride the new coaster!
I've got two words for that... NO WAY!!!! I'm not a huge fan of roller coasters anyways. I have been on every ride at Cedar Point except the Millenium Force and even that wasn't appealing to me. This is way out of the question!

(removed): It took me 6 hrs. (butterflies) just to ride the Millennium Force last year. I went on the Stratosphere "Big Shot" in Las Vegas two years ago that puts you 1000 feet above the Las Vegas Strip and almost got sick.

quote:I've got two words for that... NO WAY!!!! LOL, I was the same way about 10 years ago until my one friend forced me on a real roller coaster (what a way to start, huh?). After that, I was hooked. Now I'm saying "Bring It On!"

My wife and I went up in the Stratosphere a couple years ago, and I got dizzy just standing out there. Can't imagine going on that roller coaster up there!! Here's a pic I took while up there. Gotta Vegas!!
THIS THING LOOKS AWESOME!!! I've never been to Cedar Point, we drove by on our way out to DC in 2001 ... opted for Busch Gardens in VA instead (which was also awesome!) I don't know why, but I roller coasters, but can't go on a trampoline -- don't like the feeling of free-fall. I think it has something to do with being strapped in.

I guess this thing opened up last weekend. A local tv crew from here did a little story on it, and towards the right of this page is a link to "watch the video" of the reporter's ride on it. Looks cool....http://abclocal.go.com/wjrt/news/050103 ... Later,Carl
The weather man from a local news station was down there and going to ride that a couple days ago. Unfortunately, I had to go to work before he got to ride it. It would have been interesting to see his reaction. quote:Coho, on our way down to Cedar Point we can pickup TritonGT and I'm sure silverawd26 would like to go also. Thanks for the invite rasermon, but I don't know if I could go or not. Let me know when you are going.

I bungee jumped off that tower in vegas. My wife and I had won some money playing black jack and pissed it away but going bungee jumping. It was awesome to say the least!
I remember posting this thread a long time ago regarding this ride. Looks like it wasn't so fun for a few people: http://www.thepittsburghchanne....html
