It looks like I have found a new home on the internet! Yesterday my wife and I picked up a 06 FWD Vibe. It will be her car, she told me that I can drive it every once in awhile though . I think I like it more than she does. I just wanted to stop in and say hello and I look forward to talking to some of you guys in the future.Chris Macellaro

welcome to genvibe! this site is awesome just to talk to other vibe owners and research mods to do! after your on this site your going to have to take the vibe out when your wife is sleeping just to get some vibe time
Thank you everyone!I actually had a chance to drive it today, now I know I like it. It is fun, responsive and smooth. The car is (Lava) red and it is an automatic. The auto was a little more practical for her and my children.I have not had the chance to get it on a dyno yet as I plan on doing it next week. I will more than likely keep the car fairly stock as she does not like noisy cars . I do plan on getting a HP and Torque reading in stock form and then add a K&N drop in filter test it and then change the oil to a special brand a personal friend of mine sells (performance shop owner). I would like to see if the vibe picks up power with the little changes. The gas mileage so far is top notch. The car now has 173 miles on the odo and is reading a little above half full.Thank you for the welcome and the positive comments.Chris Macellaro
Welcome to GenVibe!Like your Website and business. It would be awesome if you could make it to one of the regional meets and run dynos for our cars. (How far to Dallas, I wonder?)
Yes I would like to do that as I have some extended family that lives near the Dallas area. One of the things about my business is that I travel the country and use a shop/dyno that is convenient for my customers, as it is not beneficial to me to own or take a portable dyno with me.To be honest I registered on this form because of our new Vibe purchase I never had plans to do business out of this forum. If people are interested in getting their GReddy emanage or Split Second or other tuning device programmed I may start doing that.If you guys are interested I will find out how to become a sponsor if possible so I can advertise on this site properly as I do not want to step on any toes here.thank youChris Macellaro
