the side skirt, the side panels under the door that is about 3" long and runs under the doors.youll hear the tires a lil more cuz the tires are harder and thinner.

I'm 40 and I think the rims look great. Congrats on your new Vibe. The hum you're hearing is coming from the tires. Your husband probably chose a tire with an aggressive tread pattern. Try putting the original tires back on, if you still have them, they might be quieter.

I'm 42 and those rims look horrible on your car. They would look much better on an Abyss vibe. You can send them to me at 268........ Nevermind, I'll just come pick them up and drop off my stock steel rims with caps. Just tell me where to come pick them up. It's for the best.

You scared me when I read the first line-I am havig a hard time getting use to-I wanted the lighter color-these are dark gray-maybe after the window tint it will look better to me or I have no style which explains why I am so questiony (is that a word) about this. Enjoy reading these comments and this whole site.

Can't see your pics...but I'm 43 and nearly all aftermarket wheels are better than the originals for the Vibe. What kind (brand/size) of tires did you get? Noise should get better in about 1000 miles as the tires start to wear with the car.

Nothing personal, but if those wheels are too much for "almost 40", then your on track to have a Grand Marquis or Lincoln Town Car by the time you are "almost 50". See how many early boomers like myself driving vibes, xbs, elements, or all the other attempts at youth marketing. See my wheels below.

Now that I got the windows tinted it's starting to grow on me. I guess I don't want to grow old too fast! Ii will have to say I love driving this car-it is so comfortable.
