ill have to go home and find what i used its long to explain but to summit up i select the objcet i want colored, create a hue/ saturation layer, move saturation to -100, create a new layer fill it with the color you want, set it to multiply, and add a mask of the obect(s) you want colored then duplicate it and then set that newer layer to screen, then you go to image- apply image TO THE MASK and your done. but ill post what i use wen i get home it explains it alot better than i can.

Well, it's not a wallpaper... yet. But it will be! I decided to go with the GT-R like nascar but I can't find a good full body pic (high angle 3/4 shot perferably) of the GT-R. I found one that's a decent size but it's crap Any way this will be incorporated in the WP at the top or bottom with a cutout below/above it. still a WIP. btw- this is scaled down to 800 by something. Final will be, as usual, 1600x1200I wan't to finish it but I've stayed in front of this computer too long today. good night.

well thats one way... that one would look awesome for single cars like say mine or jasons, or cole... you know. But what about putting pics of lots of cars like say 10 pics of different vibes and seeing how that would look.//////// = different vibes with a genvibe banner on top?

That would be cool... gives me some more ideas. The most annoying thing about all this is finding good source pics. But croping the picture for a close up like that helps. I'll try and work on this some more today/tonight.

very nice banner ANO and im still working on the global GV. but yea it was very hard for me to find any good close shots of the GT-R logo on the vibe so i just made my own. as for pics you did use google right? they do have some decent pics but the good pics are here. i wonder if anybody form the super meet last year has any good plain shots of the GT-R???ill post the colors i have now i need a full color chart of the 03 colors esp. the Envy, and 06 and the new Wave color.that way i can finish the full color line up then i can work on custom paint like i did on Mikes .i only have two custom color VIbes a green and the Yellow Preveiously posted for 4X4.and ANO Quote, originally posted by ANO_Vibe »Vibe + Skittles =Vittles, "Drive The Rainbow" brought to you by NascarXprt (removed)

Thanks on the banner. The GT-R pics here on genvibe are all good pics, but it's just not what I'm looking for. All I can find on google is small thumbnails and such. the decent sized one I was talking about was from customcarz.com or something but the car had spots from all the overhead lights at the show. I thought about just using one of the shots of the GT-R with the hood up and photoshoping it so the hood would be down. I don't really know, I might try the Vibe GXP concept but I think there are even less pics of it. I think I'll hold off on that a while. I'm gathering pics of around 10 vibes from here to make my rendition of what Mrizzle said above. I'm looking forward to your color pallete. And about that wave color, does anyone know what it looks like?If we keep this up maybe we could be Pontiacs new brouchure makers

(I was total PC until a year ago when I started my job here, now it's weird using a PC at my Mom's)It looks just a touch dark on my screen, almost abyss.Drunken, am I lost again?!?! I thought you were gonna make a clean version of the vibe GT-R, not the logo? It's a good logo, tho(wonder why they picked black with a orange outline for the "R"?)oh and thanks for the explanation Cole
