new vibe owners

i thought my first post had taken. it didn't,lol. we just bought our 03 vibe gt. it replaces our van with horrofic gas mileage. to tell the truth i love driving it.our first pic is up and since we are both young at heart we will soon start our mods. tint goes on next week at 20%,also looking for rplacement front floor mats,maybe some nice wheels, some of the colored interior trim pieces, rear mat, and cargo net set. got any of theses for sale? we have a paypal account to pay you or other options.then we will venture under the hood. by the time we are done our oldest will probably be driving,lol,but we are looking forward to it. we will ask many questions i am sure. thnak you in advance for your time and advice. we are excited about finding you guys and look forwrad to sharing our pics as we move along.

Hey, just wanted to say "hi!" I am a new owner too, just got my 2006 Vibe two days ago! I love it so far. My brother owns a 2004 or 2005 and loved it, so I followed his advice and got one myself. It replaces a 2001 GMC Jimmy which got horrible gas mileage 15mpg at best. I am still reading through the manual and figuring out all that it has. I got the moons & tunes package as well as sport package in the Lava red color. Pictures to follow later when I have time to wash and wax it. Also have to have windshield fixed already, got a rock chip crack the first day I had it My first question is tinting of windshields. I live in Illinois, where you can only legally tint the back windshields, I believe. I want to tint them to prevent everyone seeing what I have in the back, maybe to prevent someone breaking in and stealing anything that I have in there. So, did you go to a shop to have this done? How about the stuff that I saw on ebay that you can do yourself? I would like to do it myself if possible to save some money. Any help would be appreciated!
