keyless

i was wondering if anyone had any advice while shopping for keyless entry. i want to get one, but i do not know what kind i should get...circuit city has one that has a remote starter for 199 installed...it is a python. but they also have a keyless entry for 94..that is a valet...any ideas, suggestions?thanks

sounds like a good price. yo can also try getting it on ebay.wait, do you have power locks? if not then you don't have the needed hardware. that is a much more expensive project. I don't think "BEST BUY, C/C" sell complete kits like that.

Best Buy and CC can add the door locks, but because there are cable locks in the doors, it'll cost an arm and a leg if they'll even tackle it.So the question remains, Power door locks already, or no?

I had a base Vibe with no power package... so no keyless entry and no electric door locks. I had MASS eletronics install a keyless theft system with power locks to the front two doors. Basicly they are linked so if I press the manual lock on the door, both doors will lock or unlock. I don't actually have lock switchs. I can not remember exactly what I paid as I got dealer price because I worked at the dealership... but for them to alarm all the doors, the two locks and shock sensor the car... it was a couple hundred canadian.

so, its probably not worth it...i do not have power locks...i have the base vibe.
