Thanks! Wife broke a leg and rib in the passenger seat, but we are fine now. That was 65mph against the right front head light of a dodge dakota turning across traffic. Vibe performed beautifully in its demise.

(removed)!!! When I see something like that I can only imagine the worst. Glad you and you're wife survived and have recovered. To only break a leg & rib after seeing that sort of damage is amazing.

I miss my 1992 Saturn SC2 - drove it for 12 years
ouch!!!where did the engine go??Everytime i see one of these horrifying sites of dead vibes I feel so much safer driving mine.To see so much damage to these vehicles with so little ocupant damage is truly amazing!
WoW, looked like a pretty bad crash! Glad to hear the Vibe performed as it should in the accident. How did your wife manage to break a leg? I assume the rib was from the impact of the seat belt? Guess we should all feel safe if nothing else!

Glad to hear you and your wife are OK now after going through all that!Every pic I see of a wrecked Vibe, as sad as that is, only confirms my faith in them! Good to hear you're getting another Vibe!!!
The wife was sitting with one leg crossed behind the other; it pushed her other leg into the bar support under the glove box. Broke the big bone in her shin. Not getting another GT because of the premium fuel.

We are thankful!Im willing to bet that is one of the many safety features built into the Vibe. Im reffering to the crumple zones that many of the new vehicles are designed with today.

Safety features like that are the only reason i feel comfortable getting back into a small car. I went to the GMC Yukon from the totalled vibe, with a short stint in a Mazda3 Hatch. I was still driving the road i had the wreck on several times a week in the mazda, and it was just too eerie. Thank you all for the encouragement!
