Newest (?) Vibe owner

Post by moyercrud21 »

What's up guys? I just got my Vibe on Wednesday the 12th and found this forum a couple days later. I traded in a 95 Eclipse that was a bit modded. I'm looking for maybe a cold air intake, something along those lines to start with. Any word on performance parts yet? Anyways, good to be a Vibe owner.

Shadow Vibe - two tone (almost no need for the monotone in this color IMHO) - slate interior - power package - moon and tunes - abs - 16" aluminum wheels - and the GD on the radio! http://www.cardomain.com/id/db_vibe

Well, thanks...my Shadow Vibe has the monotone package, moon and tunes/power package, and the 16" aluminum wheels. I really like the commercials with the James Brown (father of soul) theme. I'm just out looking for any info I can find on my new investment!!

Alright, another Shadow! Good choice! You've come to the right place for info on your Vibe. There's a lot of it here with more added every day. Welcome! As for performance parts, there are a host of exhaust systems and intakes available. If you own a base model Vibe, there is also a supercharger on the way out. The search feature of the forum will uncover a wealth of information for you, these mods of been discussed at great length.

Awesome, guys..I was a member of a 2GNT Eclipse forum for 95-99 Mitsubishi Eclipse/Talon owners. Before I traded my car, they had about 800 posting members. I'm hoping the Vibe catches on as well as that or maybe more. That forum was so helpful in every aspect. Here's to a great future.

Hey! Another fellow ex-eclipse owner! Cool! I had a 95 Eclipse GS as well. I liked the car, but hated how small it was. I didn't have very many mods done to it. Just rims and a few decals. Take a look:

The old Eclipse/Talon was a great car. Real quick too. My friend Chris has one. It's an AWD Talon TSi. He's got a few mods to it (bigger turbom header, larger intercooler, aftermarket exhaust, electronic boost controler, aftermarket fuel pump and regulator). It's a low 14 sec car.

Nice car...I've always loved that color on the Eclipse. My ex called it root beer, haha. I ended up converting mine to the 97-99 front end style and also added a set of chrome GS-T wheels. It was white, looked nice, but it had horrible blue interior, no legroom, and the "back seat" was a padded bookshelf, if you ask me.
