So about a month ago when I bought my Vibe, I took it to the insurance agency to get my car on the policy. Well I have an 03 gt and before we bought the car my husband checked if it was AWD and he said no. So at the insurance agency she put in the VIN number and our insurance went up 7 dollars because the VIN stated it was AWD????????????????? 7 Dollars isn't what we are complaining about it the AWD part???!!! Any suggestions on how to tell or what to do thanks
1) Does your engine cover say VVT-i or VVTL-i?2) Do you have Vibe GT badges on the sides and rear?3) Does it say AWD on the rear hatch?4) Do you have an independent rear suspension?5) Do you have a drive shaft going to the rear of the car?Just want to make sure you actually got a GT.
My Fleet:

'14 Nissan Pathfinder AWD SL
'05 Pontiac Vibe AWD
Yep. AWD cost more to insure than FWD. Look and see if you have a drive shaft to the back wheels. There are a number of things under the car that a FWD does not have. A Transfer case, a shaft to the back , a rear end and shafts to the rear wheels
2005 AWD What's your story? It's a wonderful thingMomma always said "Help that is not helpful, is no help at all"
