So, I've had the springs on for over a year now. I think that the front is getting lower and lower. Alot of rubbing going on the highway. Going over a bump and turning left and right in a parking lot. I'm thinking of removing them and putting on the stock springs. But what about the struts and springs, will they need to be removed because of the shorter springs?Any thoughts?
What is the width of your rims? Do you know where it is rubbing? Is your plastic wheel shroud loose any where? You shouldn't be rubbing even after having them on for over a year. I wonder if your front struts are going out. I had the Hotchkis on for a year and Mine stayed at a 2" drop even with 18"x7.5" wheels and 225/40/18 tires with no rubbing. I put my stock springs back on this spring and my struts were fine. In fact the ride is better than when I first bought the car. I think the lowering springs settled the strut quite well so that now there is no freeway bouncing like before. It is pretty smooth now.

They are Falken Rims 17x7 215/50/17. I think that they are OEM 17 inch size. I might ask a local shop to look at the struts to se if they are bad. But I though the hotchkis didn't have a 2 inch drop. Is it more than advertised? Thanks
thats the stock GT size wheel... question about the rubbing noise in the front. Were are you hearing it? Is it from a wheel area? Sounds rotary (as in something in motion hitting something that isn't?) Check the inner wheel linings on both sides. I know I lost a couple pins in the corners by the wheels on mine. They were not rubbing the wheels but if you lose enough of those pins then the inner fenders will push in towards the wheels when you have wind pressure under the vehicle, they "could" make contact with the wheels when hitting bumps or turns. Also inspect your tires for wear marks indicating they are hitting something. If you can get the vehicle up in the air, check everything underneith for loose or worn by contact.
