Hello Everyone, Wow what big day today was. I can hardly contain myself. I test drove a 2005 pontiac vibe twice in one day, and wow I've died and gone to heaven in that machine. Not to mention I've learned that a buddy of mine who is a catholic priest got a 2005 vibe also so wow! Anyways, The first time was this afternoon when I drove to Cold Spring to test a Red pontiac vibe. I liked it so much and my wife couldn't wait so then we when back this evening and test drove the same. She likes it to. The vibe has 30,357 miles and wow! its even better than what I expected. We did a credit app tonight so tomorrow we will know! I'm already going to have a towing package put on it. May the good times. I may just ask my wife if we can go on Aug. 5th. Besides we've never been to cabella's either. Talk to you all later,Benny
Nice!but, as a guy, I have to say the "I may just ask my wife if we can go" is a bit too passive. Come on man, tell her you are going and let her know she is welcome to come too. seriously though, It would be great if you could make on Aug 5. Too far for me, but that is certainly no excuse for you, what is it, a token 2 hours drive? Get that Vibe and going to the meet will give you an excuse to drive it!The factory warranty carries over to subsequent owners, but in the US it is only good for 36000 miles, or 36 months after the original owner first took possession on the car, whichever occurs first. You should try to see if the dealer will give you any warranty beyond the 5K miles left on the factory warranty.
Great news!Just a tip for thought, if you are going to buy that car, would you have it looked at before you bought it by a mechanic? All the used cars my family has purchased we had our mechanic look them over and it has saved us on a few cars with some "issues" like a leakying head gasket that was cleaned up so buyers wouldnt see it. I have never had a bad car yet and it was only like 80-100 dollars to have it looked at. In my opinion 100 bucks for a trouble free car for 5 years is well worth it! Even the vibe that I bought at Hertz I had my mechanic look at, I dont trust car sales people, used or new cars..... hate to have a a new member get a lemon
MAJOR UPDATE TO ANNOUNCE! MAJOR UPDATE TO ANNOUNCE! Tomorrow I will be taking position of the red 2005 vibe that me and the wife test drove yesterday! I can hardly wait. Also because of concern about keep the milage low on the car I will not be able to go to the event. If was a bit closer like say in Hutchinson or St. Cloud the I would more than likely show up! later you all.
