Bosch Platinum +4 & K&N Air Filter

I put these in my PT Cruiser and added a K&N air filter. Anyone have either in thier Vibe? Thinking adding both to the Vibe. Have to wait to save up some money first though. Going to Mountaineer Race Track and Casino on Thursday so maybe I'll win me some cash.

lots of people have used the k&n filter here. it works for them. they say a slight increase in MPG. so thats always good

yeah i've been wondering the same thing bout the bosch plugs. i had em in previous cars and didn't really notice anything, then a mechanic told me that those work better in japanese cars. so hopefully they'll help my lil vibe run a lil smoother since it's got the yota engine. i'll get em sometime soon and post the results

I'd go for the K&N filter but save your money on the plugs. The Denso iridium plugs are as good as they get and you will not see a difference. My '04 Vibe had over 70,000 miles and the plugs were like new, same gap, no unusual discolouration.

I've never seen the Bosch plugs work well in ANY Asian car, or any GM car, for that matter....we get them in all the time with low MPG complaints, or miss complaints, and it the dang Bosch plugs fouled!

Bought K&N filter. Used for about 1000 miles of mixed driving - absolutely no change in mileage or power. In fact, my mileage dropped some. Returned to retailer for refund (K&N has full customer satisfaction warranty)

yea might be best to save for a CAI or a Short ram. The only upside I see to K&N drop in filters are not having to buy a new one, but just cleaning it. I got one for my dads escape and his mileag when up 1.

The stock Iridium plugs are pretty much the best you can get for the Vibe and good for 100,000 miles. If you wanted to upgrade you could try the Iridium IX plugs like I have but there really isn't that much of a difference to warrant replacing them unless they go bad for some reason.
