Dilemma

Post by Benny »

Hi again everyone, I'm putting this on a new topic because I find myself with dilemma and I need some help steering myself in the right direction..... I had first oppurtunity to sit my first pontiac vibe at Miller indoor auto Plaza. It was an 2003 vibe and like a red color. I must say that it feels almost sitting in a car except your in a SUV. I felt like I was sitting high up which nice. Anyways, here is my dilemma. below is a list of things I would like to see in a vibe if I bought one.-Vibe-2005-Silver-Moonroof (powered)-ABS-Traction Control-Driver & Passenger side airbags-rack on top-weather tech mats & Cargo liner ?????????-rear passenger vents-bra or bug deflecter ???????????????????-towing package

It is a corolla station wagon. Some might spin it as an SUV, but really, it's just a tall hatchback.color, ABS, traction control, moonroof, side airbags - best to look around to find one that came from the factory with all these things, too difficult, or expensive to change later. The rest of the stuff is things that are easy enough to add on later (except for perhaps rear passenger vents, not sure I know what you mean)It might take a while to find one with the factory options you want. It might be easier to find one of those with an automatic tranny, you didn;t specify a preference there. I recommend a preference for the power package also. Might be easier to find one with al those options than one with only half of them. Some seem to come with everything, your list has the big ones. Expect to pay for the options though, the Vibe you want will cost more than the basic model.

hi Joatmon, to answer your question. the newer vibe have vents in the rear of the vehicle for the passengers sitting in back. Does that make any sense? or no?

only rear vents i'm aware of are under the front seats (Floor vents) for rear passengers.no extra vents for rears.

'03-'04 = Cable Throttle - Easy to find intakes that work'05-'06 = Electronic Throttle - Hard to find intakes that work.
