Wheel and tires with lowered suspension

I am intersted in lowering my vibe by 1.5" front and back and also would like to have 18" rims anybody know if there will be clearance problems or rubbing issues. any help is appreciated.2006 base vibe abyss

I had 18x7.5's on last summer and was lowered 2" and I had no rubbing problems at all. You will be fine. Here is a pic of what mine looked like clearance wise:

But the install is just time consuming if you know what to do. If you have air tools... it will go by twice as fast. normal install time w/out air tools is about 3-4 hours.
