I'm sure he means the side rocker panels below the doors.

The side rocker panels are not available thru GM accesories yet. So you may have to contact them. I can pretty much guaranteethat the GM one's will be more expensive that any aftermarket.

They are expensive, I checked with my dealership and they didn't even know different rocker panels existed. I had to explain it to them and even show them examples. I don't remember the price for sure, but I want to say they were around $250 each side/painted.

Well to start off i have been really busy sorry i havent posted! But to start off why do some 04 vibes have an extended rocker pannel and then 05's dont..then 06 ive seen some...but there are ones that come from the factory on vibes liek on the 06 you can tell that there has been an extra piece added to the bottom...and i like the looks of those better but i was wondering if it would be cheaper to special order them or get the less atractive GM assesory store ones..

The 06s come stock with the rocker panels that flare out (I think those are the ones you want). There was a TSB released for two-tone Vibes that would replace the lower cladding and rocker panels... that would give them the same ones that now go on the 06s. I have an 05 and my rocker panels wrap underneath the car, but I want the rocker panels that flare out, they just want too much $$$ for them at the dealership. The sport appearance package has completely different types of rocker panels. They are more streamlined (for a lack of better words) with the car.

If you have a two toned Vibe you should be able to get them replaced for free. I got my rocker panels and the cladding behind the rear doors replaced for free under a TSB. The plastic was getting worn from rocks and dirt on the road. It took a couple weeks for them to research the recal paper I printed out and brought them but it was worth the wait because they look sharp.

Not all of the 2006's come with the extended sideskirts(or rockerpanels, however you want to call them) I have seen quite a few of the new 2006's without the extended skirts. I think the compairison that you were reffering to is the extended sideskirts that most of the 2006 Vibes come with and the Sports Kit skirts you can get through GM Accessories.

I believe when I wanted a set it was around $300-$400 for the two rocker panels. Some rediculous price. They are held in by clips and screws adn stuff so it would be simple to install, however since the dealer replaced the parts, they would not let me install them. The parts came in but they wouldn't install them until like 3 or 4 days after and I asked if I could just take them home and put them on mmyself but they said they aren't allowed to do that.
