yea you read that right. does the sport package (radio/16" wheel and monotne package) include the sport package that are the ground effects?hi pontiac, please be more confusing have having two packages with the same name. thanks
First time I saw one of those, I was laughing at GM and was also a bit frustrated that they were ripping people off by charging for the sport package but not installing the spoilers/etc! But sure enough, the "new" sport package for '06+ does not include such things.

um, is there anyone that doesn't drive a hyundai that knows?? they could at least change the name of one. i wasted my friends fourth of july telling him not to get a vibe we found because 1500 for the sport package was a waste. turns out, of course, that it wasn't.gees.
Hey, I can only go by what I saw when I was sitting around the dealer for hours on end when I had the Vibe as they were working on the stupid thing. lol!

The 2006 "Sports Package" Does not include the ground effects or the spoilers. Its a sports tuned suspension along with the 16" alloy wheels and the sideskirts(but not the sideskirts from the ground effects package there is a slight difference)
The package with the spoilers is called the "Sport Appearance Package" and is dealer-installed, according to the 2006 Vibe brochure. "Sport Appearance Package Includes front and rear fascia extensions, side rocker extensions, roof and midgate-mounted spoilers"Also, the brochure makes no mention of any suspension changes with either package."Sport Package Includes Premium Monotone Appearance Package, 16" QD2 cast aluminum wheels, and UC6 ETR AM/FM stereo with 6-disc CD changer."I agree with OP that their choice of names is confusing.
i didn't see anything on Pontiac's site saying they changed the suspension. AFAIK, they just grouped the monotone package, stereo, and 16" rims together and called it the sports package. go GM.taken from their website:Quote »Sport Package, includes Premium Monotone Appearance Package, 16" cast aluminum wheels, ETR AM/FM stereo with 6-disc CD changer, and Monsoon 7-speakers Available
yea if you got to pontiac.com/vibe and check out complete specifications, under packages is the "sport package" and under available accessories is the "Sport package" (no appearance word in there).iugh. luckuily it is a non issue... see other post.thanks guys.jeff
