Which would you get?

Post by Vibeguy07 »

Hi, I am kind of stuck on what I should do. I am trying to decide on weather to get a body kit or just get some drop coils. The body kit to me looks good but is definately more expensive where the coils aren't as much and still leave a clean look since the car is close to the wheel well. What would yall say is the best way to go about this for a person who is trying to budget and modify his car lol.

since your in TX and dont need to worry about snow.... Id get coil overs so you can drop the car and get rid of that huge wheel gap, then you'd be riding clean!

+1 All you would have to worry about is the occasional flooding, but even then the Vibe sits high so dropping it 1.5 - 2 inches wouldn't be a big deal.

yea ^ and with coil overs you can raise the car back up if it floods...well maybe not in a flash flood...but if you knew it was coming... but with coil overs then you can adjust it to look just right for your taste in a drop. with just springs you never really know....

yea i wish i knew that before i drove through the puddles after real heavy rain. but the coil overs you can adjust to your taste instead of just having one set hight.
