Thanks GM for the 0% loan (New Vibe owner)

Post by maxt »

Just got our new 06 Vibe this thursday. Tried to buy one locally but our local Pontiac dealer are a bunch of *******. We had to go to Iowa's capital (Des Moines) for an immigration interview so took the opportunity to buy one while there. Came from a 98 Pontiac Grand Prix se with 93k miles. That car was starting to fall apart and feel very loosey-goosey. Definitely NOT what a quality car should feel like at only 93k miles. My old 93 Toyota Corolla station wagon felt brand new compared to it at 170k miles.Anyways, here it is... has slushbox (its for the wife), ABS, alloys. Got excellent price on trade in for some reason.I guess it pays off to detail the trade in before bringing it in. It was hard to find a semi-stripped model with ABS but we were able to do it. I love the front end on the 06 compared to the older models. Much cleaner and tighter.

LOL! I saw your post in the Car lounge while I was on the 'Tex. I am very seriously thinking of taking advantage of the 0% too. I'll be on the phone with the dealers most of today trying to iron out the deal and decide where I will buy mine. I'll be sure to post an update when I get mine.

I've seen your name around for the longest time on the tex. cool to see same people crossing over! I would have loved a rabbit but there's just no way I was ready to trust VW's regular automatic (no dsg in the rabbit). I had one before and it was probably the worst shifting transmission i've ever driven You looking at a Vibe? I truly think its one of the best values out there. GM depreciation/discounts & awesome dealer network coupled with Toyota car. cant get any better!
