Rejoined the Pontiac Crue!

Post by SeattleJeremy »

This weekend I was looking online for a new or used Vibe. I found one dealer within 50miles of me that had both new and used 5speeds with Power windows/doors. Last night after work I went up to Clyde Revord Motors http://www.revord.com/ in Everett, WA (45 miles from my home) and started to look around for a Vibe. After finding a key for a 4speed Vibe on the ground, I approched David Murphy, and we got to talking. Little while later, we made a deal Huling Brothers is a little closer to my house, and had 5-8 5speeds in stock, but their Autotrader.com listings didn't tell me if they had the power package or not. So that put them off the list. Here are the details :D06 Base Vibe 5 speedMono - PlatnumPower PackagePlanned modsStereo: Pioneer HU, (4) MBQuart reference + 4channel amp, Alpine sub + amp, XM, and Ipod adapterHandling : Sway bars (cause this thing leans like Fat Joe)Oh and : 0% 72month Financing For Teh Win :D

Nice. When I needed to buy a car, I too wanted both 5 speed and power package, but such a thing was not to be had, and a car had to be had, so I went with the 5 speed without power package instead of an auto with it. Great you could fine one with both mine doesn;t lean, but maybe yours does compared to what you traded in. Always good idea to check tire pressure

Springs, strut bar and sway bar will help with that lean. Also some low profile tires will help keep that Vibe more upright. Its fun to autocross which I do with mine. I just got a rear sway bar and am looking forward to trying that out on the 8-9th of july at the SCCA event.

As soon as I sell the Aftermarket parts from the WRX then I'll be getting a set of sway bars. Maybe some 17" rims, We'll see. Woot for new car!
